Botswana’s Broadhurst Magistrate Court underwent a major reconstruction and expansion. Aluglass Bautech is proud of ACOUSTIC TREATMENT SOLUTIONS they installed, like the Variflex® mobile acoustic partition system and Varikust® acoustic doors, allowing for court hearings to be held next to each other, in complete privacy.
The Variflex® system allows flexibility by subdividing two or more open spaces so that they can be utilised as court rooms simultaneously. 3 Variflex® mobile acoustic partition system (operable walls) VX110 have individual elements that are sturdy and once locked and sealed into place, have a sound insulation of 51dB. When the full-sized room is required, the top-hung elements are easily moved on an overhead track and positioned neatly to one side – requiring no floor tracks.
23 Varikust® acoustic doors were also installed to complete the sound solution for Project Broadhurst Magistrate Court with an acoustic rating of 40dB. These particular doors were fitted with 300mm x 150mm viewing panels and finished in Maple Veneer to suit the look and feel of the revamped court.
