Aluglass Bautech is honoured to have been awarded the manufacturing, supply, and installation of our Variflex® mobile acoustic GLASS partition system at JSE Dining Hall.
This acoustic partition provides flexibility and is ideal for any area. If the complete space is required, the individual elements park neatly to an offset U-parking on one side and the area has an uninterrupted floor finish. NO bottom tracks! When smaller rooms are needed, the partition wall is set up and this then divides the Dining Hall. Once the individual elements are sturdy and sealed into place, the partition wall will have a sound insulation of approximately 47dB DnTw. That would mean that loud speech will only be perceived as a murmur.
This Variflex® mobile acoustic glass partition has a height of 3.1 meters and an approximate width of 7.4 meters. The individual standard elements all have glass inserts and the frame finish was specified to be a Woodline Cream Melawood. The telescopic element is Melawood without a glass insert.
