  • Varikust® VK62G 35dB 900mm x 2560mm acoustic single glass doors with an oak veneer frame

Aluglass Bautech Western Cape is thrilled to have installed a beautiful QUIET SPACE at a private residence within an open-plan home.

5.7 meters of GF Serene acoustic de-mountable partition system and a Varikust® VK62G acoustic glass door were installed to create the ideal quiet space. The GF Serene35 slimline was specified with a powder coated aluminium top and bottom skirtings.  This system integrates directly with the Aluglass Bautech’s Varikust® VK62G acoustic glass door, which provides sound insulation of 35dB. The specified door is 900mm wide x 2560mm high and finished with toughened safety glass in an oak veneer frame.

The system features glazed and unglazed acoustic doors from our Varikust® VK62 range to complement the acoustic performance. Glassflex Serene GFS35 slimline: demountable frameless glass system (12mm TSG) with in situ acoustic insulation performance of 35dB (this system works well with our VK62 acoustic door). Partition system height of up to 3100mm and a max door height of 2700mm. Glassflex Serene GFS43: demountable frameless glass system (13.5mm acoustic laminated TSG) with in situ acoustic insulation performance of 43dB (this system works well with our VK62 acoustic door). Partition system height of up to 2900mm and a max door height of 2700mm. Glassflex Serene GFS45 slimline: demountable frameless glass system (22.73 acoustic laminated glass) with in situ acoustic insulation performance of 45dB (this system works well with our VK62 acoustic door). Partition system height of up to 2900mm and a max door height of 2700mm.
